Te Kura o Te Kao, along with Waiharara Kura, Te Hapua and Ngataki all attended the community planting day held at Lake Waiparera on the 6th September 2018 as part of the Dune Lakes Restoration event organised with the Te Hiku Dune Lakes Team and Department of Conservation.

It was a fabulous day with our Dune Lake teams co-ordinating between landowners and other stakeholders with fencing and riparian planting sites.

It was a wonderful kai put on by Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) as part of Conservation Week celebrations as well as supporting our teams with the restoration of our wonderful and rear ecosystems that Dune Lakes provide.
